Last year I did my will, and I had expressed my desire to be cremated. It’s a really kind thing you can do for your loved ones to put a plan in place for your departure. In the course of that process, I found out about the Maryland Anatomy Board. When you die and seek their assistance, they basically take the body and use it for medical training. It’s done in a respectful way. After this, they cremate you and return your remains to your family.
The Karma is that you get to help people with medical training and the financial part of it is that you don’t end up having to pay for your final expenses. It’s better to have these arrangements made long before you need it.
